A Rethymno solar assessment begins with the building and its use. For an existing home or business, we check usable roof areas, equipment already installed and safe access for construction and maintenance.
Upgrading an existing installation
If solar is already installed, provide the inverter model, drawings and production records. Additional batteries or panels are not automatically compatible. Electrical design, protection and the existing connection arrangement need review.
For a new system, compare available area with demand. A smaller array with greater utilisation may be more appropriate than filling every part of the roof.
Buildings with special constraints
Where a property has protected status, special local conditions or a shared roof, the relevant requirements and consents must be checked before finalising the layout. The city name alone neither proves a restriction nor establishes permission to install.
Options by use
Homes need day/night demand analysis; businesses need operating and seasonal profiles. Consider Net Billing, storage and off-grid systems where the requirements justify them.
Our published portfolio provides technical references from available records. This page does not identify a project as a verified Rethymno installation without sufficient location evidence.
Rethymno questions
Can a small roof be useful?
Dimensions, shading, access and demand determine the answer. A plan or photographs support an initial discussion.
Can storage be added to an existing system?
Compatibility and connection arrangements need checking. See the hybrid inverter guide.
How does assessment begin?
Provide the installation area, twelve months of demand, photographs and a clear objective: self-consumption, backup or full autonomy.
Discuss your installation
Send your location, bills, operating hours and available roof space for an individual assessment.
